Won’t wealth affirmations taken to heart drive one to greed? No. Greed is wanting something you haven’t earned. And greed brings you heartache, not wealth.
Let's take a moment and look at Sam Walton. First, he did not become the richest man in the world through greed. He earned his money by created stores people wanted to buy from. After all, no one was forced to buy from WalMart. When customers handed over their money, they did so because they felt they were getting more of what they wanted than their money was worth to them. Sam Walton was offering great value to millions of people. They got what they wanted and he made a profit. It was win/win.
Jim Rohn says, “We get paid for bringing value to the marketplace." Sam Walton brought more value to the marketplace than anyone else. That is why he became the wealthiest human on earth.
How about you? Do you want wealth? As you will see in one of the quotes below, wealth gives you more options in life. Do you want more options in your life? Then you have to get a handle on what money is and how to get it without greed. Others have and you can too.
On the other side of the coin is Bernie Madoff. Now, he was greedy. Very greedy. He wanted more in life than he earned, than he deserved. And as a consequence, he went to prison. He has said that he was glad he had been caught...he couldn't keep going with the lies. He used a Ponzi Scheme to earn his wealth. Made promises he couldn't keep. And he knew it. Did it make him happy? No. Again, he ended up in prison.
So bring value to the marketplace in great quantities and you will end up wealthy. If that is of interest to you, these affirmation for wealth can come in handy. Everyone has to decide how hard they are willing to work and how much value they will bring to the marketplace. You may not want wealthy, you may want well off. In any case, the more money, the more options you get in life.
